Slowly climbing up the valley form Nova Gorica you reach Kanal where Avče trails team made couple of amazing trails to ride. Plus they offer shuttle services. Reach them out at their FB web page There's a trail the the guide book from 2009 which was slightly modified in recent years to give you even more fun.

2. Kambreško **

A vast hilly area called Kambreško extends northwest of Kanal. The whole area is intensively covered by forests roads where a detailed map and a good sense of orientation is needed for getting around. This trip includes the climb up from Ročinj to Kambreško village and a descent down to a valley that ends at Ajba. Plus another climb to Sv. Pavel church from where an abandoned single track takes you back down to Ročinj.

All copied have been sold right away, but until now it still stand out as one of the most comprehensive source of MTB trails in the valley, from Kanal region all the way up until the steep hills of Julian Alps.
